All About Umbrella
Jayne and Nicola are both qualified, specialist teachers, with decades of experience in range of settings - mainstream primary, SEND enhanced resource units, generic special schools and independent residential special schools. Having spent many years talking about trying to 'do education differently' in order to meet the individual needs of children, they decided to make the transition from school based education to bespoke teaching in January 2025.
Umbrella Education and Training was created with the aim of meeting the needs of students, as flexibly as possible. Having a deep understanding of building safe and secure attachments first and foremost, they strive to support learners to meet their full potential and to thrive academically and emotionally on their educational journey, however that may look for them.
